edatanetworks Inc. today announced the approval of patents 18/110,726 and 18/143,842 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), further strengthening the micro-donations, broadcast advertising, and blockchain aspects of edatanetworks Inc.’s intellectual property portfolio.
Patent 18/143,842 enables a cryptographically secure chain that provides unique labeling of transactions, and uses role-based digital wallets to determine and record resulting donations on multiple synchronized blockchains. These donations are then used to purchase Internet of Things (IoT) enabled systems, with real-time usage information anonymously verifying the validity of donations and providing accountability details to stakeholders.
In Patent 18/110,726, tokenized purchase data is analyzed to determine if a transaction is the result of targeted digital/broadcast advertising (e.g., ATSC 3.0). Any matches identified result in small merchant-funded donations being sent to local nonprofits.
“Behind our innovations is a team of innovators who are constantly pushing the envelope to leverage digital commerce to strengthen and sustain their communities. We continue to be humbled and honored to consistently receive recognition and acknowledgment from the inventor community and the USPTO,” said Terry Tietzen, founder and CEO of edatanetworks. “These patents continue to demonstrate the growing value of the innovations in our strong intellectual property portfolio.”
