Amsterdam-based IoT space tech startup Hiber has announced that it has acquired Paris-based IoT LoRaWAN-enabled hardware manufacturer Srett Industrie, which specializes in LoRaWAN-enabled devices for ATEX environments.
The acquisition will strengthen Hiber’s research, development and manufacturing capabilities and expand HiberHilo operations around the world. The acquisition is aimed at accelerating innovation in remote well health and monitoring technologies.
Remote IoT Solutions Providing Actionable Insights
Founded in 2016, Hiber is addressing the long-standing challenge of remote monitoring in the energy sector with its innovative solution, HiberHilo. By providing visibility into remote wells and pipelines, Hiber increases safety for people, communities and the environment.
HiberHilo provides IoT solutions that are easy to buy, install and use, and the technology enables oil and gas companies to monitor critical aspects of their remote operations around the world.
The company’s solutions include HiberHilo, designed for oil and gas well monitoring, and HiberEasypulse, which facilitates asset tracking and vehicle monitoring across sectors such as transportation, mining, construction, agriculture and forestry.
Hiber operates across five continents, providing comprehensive monitoring capabilities to major domestic and international energy companies.
