Cybersecurity has always been a concern, but the advent of AI will make cybersecurity attacks more sophisticated, exposing many businesses to all kinds of threats.
Shlomo Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Cato Networks, joins Asking For A Trend to discuss the current state of cybersecurity and what investors need to know about the space.
“We live in a highly digitalized world where everyone is interconnected and everyone is a target,” Shlomo said, emphasizing how important advanced cybersecurity is.
He elaborated on how his company is ahead of the curve: “AWS [Amazon Web Services] It’s a service that takes the heavy lifting of the appliances on the network side and the security side, takes ownership and gives you security results. You just open a console in the cloud. Cloud services are now available to deliver networking and network security in a much more efficient way from an operational standpoint and in a much more agile way from a business standpoint.”
He continues, “I believe we are the first and only company deploying AI models to prevent attacks in real time, and AI will be critical in the future as attackers will use it. Advanced attacks used to be carried out by highly trained cyber soldiers, but now they are industrialized at scale. The only way to prevent that is with AI.”
