A panel of prominent investors and technology experts from around the country, with decades of experience helping companies grow and succeed, will evaluate applicants based on product differentiation, market opportunity and traction, profitability potential, quality of management team, and other criteria.
The competition will be held within the FATE Expo, which is expected to be the largest gathering of finance and accounting technology professionals in the United States.
FATE will feature two intensive days of evaluating and learning about the latest products and suppliers in the finance and accounting space, with over 50 interactive thought leader sessions designed to address the key challenges facing business technology buyers.
The FATE Pitch Stage not only provides a platform for startups to capture the attention of investors, potential partners and early adopters but also helps them refine their business models, sharpen their presentation skills and gain insights into market expectations.
Finalists in the FATE pitch stage will have a chance to win a $2,500 prize, as well as free registration to all FATE programs and access to professional coaching.
When attendees are not busy with their presentations, the FATE Startup Pavilion will have a demo space where they can interact one-on-one with the audience.
To participate in the Pitch Stage competition, submitted products or services must have been conceived before January 2021, and companies must not have raised more than $10 million in total funding from multiple sources.
