Shift5 announced that the Shift5 Platform is now available on AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog of thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that makes it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The Shift5 platform organizes complex on-board data flowing from civil aerospace, rail, maritime and military vehicles and weapons systems. It captures and analyzes real-time serial bus data to reveal critical operational and cybersecurity insights that enable organizations to move from data to decision-making quickly and confidently.
Shift5 unlocks a full ecosystem of on-board data for operations, maintenance and cybersecurity teams, enabling real-time decision intelligence through complete on-board data access and observability from asset level to fleet scale. The Shift5 platform can be deployed using existing on-board compute resources or optional field-proven TRL9 hardware. It is hardware, bus and protocol agnostic and designed to perform passive full-take data capture from any on-board source (all frames, all buses, all protocols).
The Shift5 platform supports several modules.
Cybersecurity Module – Detects, identifies and alerts on anomalous activity and known threats, and provides real-time notifications to enable rapid response and proactive mitigation of potential cybersecurity risks. Predictive Maintenance Module – Get the real-time, data-driven insights needed to effectively forecast and schedule maintenance, proactively avoid failures, and ensure the safety and performance of critical transportation and defense fleets. Compliance Module – Automate compliance efforts for on-board fleet data by ensuring it is processed, managed and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. GPS Integrity Module – Enhance situational awareness by delivering direct, real-time alerts against GPS spoofing attempts, facilitating a more efficient and safer decision-making process.
AWS customers will now be able to access Shift5 Platform software starter subscriptions directly within AWS Marketplace, and Shift5 will provide customers with the ability to streamline the purchasing and management of Shift5 Platform within their AWS Marketplace accounts.
