Shanghai, China-based Rona Therapeutics announced on Friday that it has completed a $35 million Series A+ funding round.
The round was led by LongRiver Investments, with participation from investors including Zhaode Investment, BioTrack Capital, Zhongqi Capital and Lilly Asia Ventures.
LongRiver Investments, which will join Rona’s board of directors in connection with the Series A+ financing, commented, “Rona Therapeutics has successfully advanced two best-in-class siRNA metabolism programs globally, demonstrating the value of its differentiated clinical data and platform. We are impressed with the progress Rona has made in developing its innovative siRNA pipeline and expanding into extrahepatic delivery to the CNS and beyond.
