Richtech Robotics, a Nevada company and provider of AI-driven service robots, has officially announced that it has deployed its robotic solution, ADAM, at Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers’ Major League Baseball stadium.
With its unique AI capabilities and advanced human-like behavior, ADAM will serve as the first humanoid bartending robot in major league sports arenas and large-scale entertainment venues.
The launch of ADAM at Globe Life Field, in collaboration with global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North, marks ADAM’s 10th permanent installation and is part of Richtech Robotics’ cutting-edge robotic technology that enables more personalized hospitality experiences.
“ADAM has seen a surge in popularity in recent months since the successful debut of its advanced AI capabilities at CES 2024, and we’re excited to continue this momentum with the addition of ADAM to the prestigious Globe Life Field,” said Matt Casella, president of Richtech Robotics.
“We are constantly evolving ADAM’s technology to enable better, more engaging and smoother interactions with customers and colleagues across industries. We look forward to watching new users interact with our cutting-edge robot.”
ADAM sets a new precedent for robotics in the hospitality industry, creating more efficient workstreams that allow stadium employees to focus on engaging with fans and creating memorable experiences.
Combining AI, advanced sensors, two robotic arms and a range of customisable drinks, ADAM seamlessly emulates human movements with great accuracy.
ADAM will be installed inside the stadium bar and will serve cocktails and mocktails alongside a team of human bartenders. Not only will ADAM provide fans with a unique service option, it will also help reduce wait times and workload, especially on busy match days.
“We look forward to ADAM becoming a vital entertainer and staff member as part of the stadium’s permanent hospitality team as we begin a new, technology-focused chapter at Globe Life Field,” said Casey Rupp, Globe Life Field general manager for Delaware North, which provides all food, beverage and retail services at the stadium.
“We expect to see enthusiastic fans lining up to order drinks at ADAM on game day.”
ADAM recently debuted at the Texas Rangers’ annual HBCU “Swingman Classic” and the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. In its first week of operation, ADAM served approximately 500 drinks at the stadium.
The robot will be permanently installed at the concession bar at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field, adjacent to the entrance to Section 111. ADAM’s menu will consist of classic cocktails like the Lemon Drop and Whiskey Sour, as well as an assortment of mocktails.
Richtech Robotics’ premier robotics solution, ADAM, aims to improve the hospitality industry by enhancing guest experience, reducing tedious tasks, and increasing efficiency. ADAM gives colleagues more time to personally interact with guests, helping to grow your business and improve overall customer satisfaction.
