In our latest episode of Paradigm, we speak with Bankim Brahmbhat, President and CEO of Bankai Group, a US-based telecom and fintech company. Having started his career as a telecom engineer, Brahmbhat founded Bankai Group in 1989. Over the next three decades, the entrepreneur established a push-button telephone manufacturer in India and later expanded into manufacturing satellite dishes and media receivers. In 2000, he also operated India’s first private group telephone exchange before expanding into international markets with telecom billing and engineering services.
In this interview, Brahmbhatt shares his entrepreneurial insights on the evolution of the telecom industry and also delves into how (and why) his business approach goes far beyond traditional strategies. Recognized as a pioneer in integrating advanced technologies and improving operational efficiencies within the telecom industry, he also shares how he navigates the complexities of the industry and finds innovative solutions.
Brahmbhatt also shares how his extensive experience in areas such as communications product development, marketing, product management, business development and corporate strategy has guided his journey from being a communications engineer to becoming the CEO of a global communications company.
