Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN), a leading community-driven Web3 platform, hosted an exciting meet-up in Delhi to educate and empower the new generation of gamers on Web3 gaming and its associated benefits including income opportunities and alternative careers.
The event attracted around 100+ students with an average age of around 21, who were keen to learn about the technology as blockchain is the future. The aim was to share the potential of this field as a viable career path. The highlight of the event was an interaction with Amritanshu, a 21-year-old from Patna who is a leaderboard legend and has big dreams. He shared his experience and stated that although he comes from a poor family, he is on the path to fulfilling his aspirations. Earning a substantial income from KGeN just by playing games, he has become financially independent and manages his expenses in Delhi solely from his blockchain gaming earnings, showing his resourcefulness.
Similarly, recently graduated leaderboard legend Shivam Gupta also started his career with KGeN and began reaping the rewards of his hard work as he delved deeper into the world of blockchain gaming. With the first money he earned from playing blockchain games, Shivam decided to honour his parents to show his gratitude to them for their unwavering support throughout his career. With the waves of success rolling in, he indulged in a little luxury and bought himself an iPhone as a symbol of his hard-earned success.
He, along with other attendees, shared their experiences and talked about how they leveraged Web3 gaming as an alternative source of income. Through events such as Gamer Meetups, KGeN aims to enlighten young people about the potential blockchain gaming can have for careers, income, personal growth, or simply as a coveted side hustle these days. They conduct inter-college matches and discussions with experts and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to explore the future of gaming and blockchain as a viable career option while dispelling parental and other misconceptions about gaming-related careers, especially in the Web3 technology field.
