About us:
The Virginia Tech Rescue Squad is a 100% student-run volunteer organization dedicated to responding to 911 medical emergencies on the Virginia Tech campus and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide fast and effective medical assistance to those in need and ensure the safety and well-being of the campus community.
Why join?
No experience is needed to join our team. We welcome people with diverse backgrounds and interests who are eager to learn and make a difference. When you join us, you’ll receive comprehensive training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and gain the skills needed to provide critical medical services in emergency situations.
