Prior to founding Jade, Mr. Pisano served as Director of Business Development for Asia Pacific for International Gaming Technology (IGT), a multinational slot machine manufacturer traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol IGT.
Mr. Pisano served as Executive Director and Senior Vice President of Entertainment Gaming Asia, formerly known as Elixir Gaming Technology, a provider of casino gaming technology, and as International Project Manager for Automatic Totalizator, Inc., a manufacturer, installer and operator of Totalizator Systems, devices that totalize wagers in pari-mutuel betting systems. Mr. Pisano worked as Project Manager responsible for the installation of Totalizator Systems at horse racing tracks around the world.
But it was through his work at Automatic Totalisators that he gained exposure to the Asian market and ultimately founded Jade.
Jade essentially acts as a middleman between Asian slot machine manufacturers and casinos. The company offers several options to its customers. It sells the machines directly, or Jade offers a revenue-sharing model. In this option, Jade finds casinos that have floor space for a slot machine manufacturer and installs the machines for its customers. This allows the casino to save on the initial investment in the machines, while allowing Jade and the slot machine manufacturer to share in the revenue that gamers generate.
