HANOI, Vietnam, July 24, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FPT Software, a leading global IT company, recently signed a major Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading project management organization. The partnership aims to bridge the skills gap within the technology industry and foster innovation around the world.
Under the agreement, PMI will commit to support FPT Software in creating and implementing a comprehensive lifelong learning and development framework for its employees. PMI will also share modern project management principles and standards, enabling FPT Software to ensure quality control of its in-house training programs.
FPT Software aims to have 555 certifications for project managers in 2024, including 500 Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, 50 Program Management Professional (PgMP) certifications, and 5 Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certifications. Over the three years, FPT Software plans to have a total of 2,600 PMI certifications. These project management certifications are the gold standard in project management recognized by organizations around the world. This will not only prove the expertise of FPT Software’s employees, but also increase their professional recognition globally and enhance FPT Software’s credibility when engaging with potential customers, leading to increased operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
