Startup developing mobile EV charging robot “ZiGGY” continues to gain funding and support
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — EV Safe Charge has been selected to participate in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator, which includes funding to accelerate the development of ZiGGY, the company’s autonomous mobile EV charging robot. ZiGGY is the first and only innovation in the charging industry that is AI-enabled and features a high-resolution screen for communication and advertising. Run by Alabama Power and located in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, the EnergyTech Accelerator is part of a global program led by Techstars, an institutional investor that provides investments, access to capital, mentorship and other support to approximately 1% of startup applicants accepted into the program.
