Two leading space consulting companies, Euroconsult and SpaceTec Partners, have merged to form Novaspace.
With over 130 professionals across 10 offices worldwide, Novaspace is the largest consulting firm focused solely on the space industry.
In addition to management consulting services, Novaspace also supports clients with technology consulting, market intelligence and capability development, and hosts a number of leading executive summits.
Headquartered in Paris, Euroconsult has 40 years of history in management consulting, market intelligence and executive summits (including the annual World Space Business Week in Paris) with offices in France, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia and the United States.
With offices in Brussels and Munich, SpaceTec Partners specializes in management and technical consulting services in the areas of Earth observation, navigation, satellite communications, exploration, situational awareness and geographic intelligence. The company serves organizations in the government, security and defense, transport and aviation, mobility and energy sectors.
Terms of the transaction and financial details were not disclosed. The groups confirmed that NovaSpace will remain privately owned and a fully independent company.
Commenting on the transaction, Pacôme Révillon, former CEO of Euroconsult and now CEO of Novaspace, said: “This merger marks an important milestone in our journey. Combining Euroconsult’s strategic vision with SpaceTech Partners’ management consulting tradition will allow us to deliver a unique value proposition in the space sector.”
Rainer Horn, Carla Filotico and Thomas Tanghe, partners and managing directors at SpaceTec Partners, now at Novaspace, said: “The partnership with Euroconsult opens new perspectives for our company. Together we will deliver unparalleled value to our clients by blending strategic consulting with technical insight, incorporating innovative tools for stakeholder engagement and ensuring a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach.”
The deal comes two years after rival US-based market research and consulting firm Northern Sky Research was acquired by UK-based management consulting firm Analysys Mason, which specialises in communications, media and technology.
