Darktrace, the global leader in cybersecurity AI, today announced the Darktrace Defenders Partner Program to foster closer collaboration, empower partners, and help organizations improve their cyber resilience using the Darktrace ActiveAI security platform and products.
“At Darktrace, partners are integral to our strategy and play a critical role in helping customers use AI to increase cyber resilience in the face of a rapidly changing threat landscape,” said Dennis Walter, Chief Revenue Officer at Darktrace. “Over the past year, we’ve made several strategic investments to transform how we go to market with our global partner community and drive deeper collaboration and long-term, sustainable growth. With the introduction of the Darktrace Defenders Partner Program and our investments in the people and technology to support the program, we’re well poised to accelerate and drive joint success with our partners.”
Channel partners play a critical role in helping companies navigate the dynamic threat landscape: According to Darktrace’s “State of AI Cybersecurity 2024” report, 74% of security professionals surveyed believe that AI-powered cyberthreats are already having a significant impact on their organizations, while 60% believe they are not currently prepared to defend against these attacks.
Partners can help customers overcome these barriers and understand how to choose the right AI solution for the right cybersecurity challenge to proactively address cyber resilience. Partnering effectively with the channel is essential to support customer needs.
With this in mind, Darktrace is introducing the Darktrace Defenders Partner Program to better support partners going to market with Darktrace. The program has three levels – Elite, Premier and Preferred – with different participation requirements and benefits. Key highlights include:
Darktrace Services Certified Partner Program: Partners can earn certification for delivering unique and differentiated Darktrace-centric services. The program provides the training and tools necessary to develop expertise in the Darktrace ActiveAI security platform, validating that partners certified in the program have certified staff and meet high standards for product knowledge. Darktrace now offers certification for partners who deliver network and email managed detection and response services. Personalized learning paths and enablement: The program provides partners with specialized, role-based training and enablement at no cost, including both web-based and instructor-led training, to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to effectively sell Darktrace solutions. Access to technical sales tools: To lead and accelerate the sales cycle, partners have access to Darktrace-specific technical sales tools, including demos and product trials, while receiving training and support from Darktrace technical and cyber intelligence experts. Program discounts and access to Market Development Funds (MDF): Partners receive various pricing incentives for deal registrations, various discounts on fees associated with Darktrace certified testing and not-for-resale solutions, and support for co-marketing initiatives.
“The threat landscape is becoming more challenging, and security teams are struggling to monitor increasingly complex environments,” said Brian Martin, Director of Product Management at Integrity360. “We’re excited to be one of the first partners to leverage Darktrace’s new Services Certified Partner Program and integrate Darktrace’s innovative products into our managed detection and response services to provide customers with a stronger defense. Our partnership combines Integrity360’s deep cybersecurity expertise and support services with Darktrace’s advanced self-learning AI engine, enabling a proactive approach that keeps customers one step ahead.”
The launch of the Darktrace Defenders Partner Program builds on the investments Darktrace has made over the past year to expand and evolve its Global Partner Organization (GPO) team and strategy. Darktrace has tripled the size of its GPO team across key functions like sales operations, marketing, and technical partner enablement, and introduced new systems and technologies to better support partners, including a new partner portal. To further accelerate this transformation, Darktrace has also introduced a Commission Accelerator for sellers who transact through partners, fostering deeper collaboration and engagement.
