Concord has appointed Brad Clark as senior vice president of streaming and data analytics and Kristen Reed as vice president of data analytics and research. In their new roles, Clark and Reed will focus on leveraging data to drive revenue and amplify the voice of Concord’s artists. Both will be based in Nashville.
“We’re thrilled to have Brad and Kristen joining the team. Brad has worked with artists at every stage of their careers, from releasing their first song to playing the biggest stadiums in the industry. He has developed a unique understanding of how to translate data into real progress in an artist’s career,” said Tom Becch, CEO of Concord Label Group.
“Kristen’s ability to leverage data to guide our artist promotion is incredible,” adds Becky. As Concord Label Group continues to grow at an ever-increasing rate, it’s essential that we stay competitive and ensure our artists reach the widest possible audience. In the streaming era, this means a global, data-driven approach, and I’m confident that Brad and Kristen are exceptionally well-suited to build on the framework we’ve established.”
A native of Stoneville, North Carolina, Clark has more than 20 years of experience with Universal Music Group, managing revenue, data and business transactions and leading projects for artists including Chris Stapleton, Darius Rucker, Eric Church, Lady A, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt.
“For me, the greatest joy is helping artists go from relative obscurity to realizing their dreams,” says Clark. “My career has been built around the support of strong teams and incredible artistry. Concord has built a great, artist-centric company, so this move felt like a natural next step.”
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Reed joins the team with six years of data analytics and research experience from Universal Music Group. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has experience in data, finance and accounting.
“Music is what drives me, and as someone who tends to speak in numbers, being able to use that ability to help artists get their music out into the world is really amazing,” Reid explains. “Concord has an incredible team and people at their disposal, so I’m excited to be joining.”
