When Hades 2 was announced it came as a bit of a surprise as it was the first time Supergiant Games had made a sequel, and from what we’ve seen of the game’s early access so far, hopefully it won’t be the last. They’ve taken some of the best aspects of the first game and run with it, creating a thrilling and engaging dungeon crawler.

Luckily, the system requirements are not too demanding, so you don’t necessarily need an expensive device to explore this world. The Ideapad Gaming 3 makes a strong case for being the best Lenovo gaming laptop on the market, and one of its most attractive features is its next-gen Nvidia GPU, the RTX 4050. While this is the lowest-performance card in the RTX 40 series, it gets access to the same Lovelace architecture features, including unparalleled ray tracing performance and DLSS 3 frame generation.
The 15.6-inch screen and 1080p resolution are pretty standard and good considering the price, while the 120Hz refresh rate combined with 16GB of RAM makes for a very smooth gaming experience. The 512GB storage could be bigger, but it’s still plenty. It’s also nice to see faster load times thanks to the excellent SSD storage technology.
In terms of aesthetics, there may be more attractive laptops out there, but in terms of value for money, the Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 is at the top of its class.
Can I play Hades 2 without a graphics card?
No, the minimum system requirements include a GPU of equivalent power to the GTX 950 or R7 360.
Is Hades 2 better with a controller?
