The latest edition of the Vision Pro experience further expands the well-known list of “Environments” that provide users with virtual backgrounds, now offering access to “Lake Vrangla.” This latest background offers users a 360-degree view, showcasing the misty environment of a secluded lake surrounded by land and trees, with an overall brooding atmosphere.
Not all Vision Pro users are fans of the Passthrough feature, which uses the camera to capture the real world, and Environments offers a full VR mode.

An online user who owns a Vision Pro shared Apple’s latest offer, which further expands on the virtual backgrounds with Lake Vrangla offering a new view within the headset, available with an immersive location-focused environment feature that lets users see all around them no matter where they’re facing.
MacRumors reports that Lake Vrangla is based on a real location near Oslo, Norway.
It was also revealed that Lake Vrangana will offer users a night-time version depicting a sunset scene, with reflections on the water visible when streaming video from the lake.

Vision Pro: Full VR mode with environments
Lake Vrangla is the latest addition to vision Environments, a feature centered around a full VR mode that completely blocks out the outside world or turns off pass-through mode. Mount Hood, Yosemite, and the Moon are some of the environments available in Cupertino, with Apple set to offer more in the future for users who prefer this view.
It was previously revealed that the Bora Bora environment will be added to visionOS 2, which will be released later this year.
Apple Vision Pro and its features
Apple’s wearable headset form factor spatial computer is one of the most advanced technologies the company has ever developed and is the most highly acclaimed mixed reality device available on the market. Its well-known features include immersive experiences with spatial audio, and Apple has also expanded with new movies available on the Apple TV app.
One of the most iconic features of mixed reality headsets is the pass-through feature that allows users to mirror the world outside the wearable while integrating it with augmented reality technology. However, this feature was famously abused by early Vision Pro users, especially those wearing the headset while driving – a feature that Apple discourages.
From streaming movies and series from various platforms to immersive gaming experiences, lifestyle apps and more, Apple Vision Pro offers a wealth of features that users can enjoy on the wearable. Through Environments, users can now block out the outside world and go into full VR mode, adding a new location called Lake Vrangla that can be enjoyed on the wearable.
