Aligos Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ALGS), a California-based company specializing in liver and viral diseases, has announced a clinical trial collaboration with Amoytop Biotech.
Founded in 2018, Aligos is focused on developing potentially first-in-class therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and viruses with high medical need, such as Hepatitis B and coronavirus.
Under the agreement, XiamenTop will sponsor and conduct exploratory Phase Ib clinical trials in China, subject to approval by Chinese regulatory authorities.
