Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A), headquartered in California, USA, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire BioVectra, Inc., a leading specialty contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), for $925 million.
Canada-based Biovectra manufactures biologics, highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients and other molecules for targeted therapeutics.
