Quantistry, a Berlin-based startup specializing in cloud-native chemistry simulation, and IQM Quantum Computers, a leader in quantum computing technology, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore hybrid classical-quantum solutions for the chemical and materials industries. The collaboration aims to integrate IQM’s advanced quantum systems into Quantistry’s simulation platform, QuantistryLab, to improve efficiency and accuracy for industrial applications.
Dr. Peter Eder, Head of Strategic Partnerships at IQM, highlighted the partnership’s potential to drive innovation and leadership in quantum computing, noting its importance in addressing industrial challenges. The collaboration will leverage IQM’s recently launched IQM Resonance cloud service, which will provide easy access to quantum systems for algorithm development and testing.
Dr. Arturo Robertazzi, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder of Quantistry, highlighted that the partnership aims to reshape chemical and materials research and development with a focus on sustainability and renewable energy. Quantistry’s recent €3M (US$3.24M) funding round, led by Ananda Impact Ventures and Chemovator, supports this mission.
