Join this month’s Community of Practice webinar to learn more about the launch of the Space Tech Catalyst Prizes. The NASA Space Tech Catalyst Prizes invite and recognize individuals and organizations that empower underrepresented space technology innovators and researchers. Multiple $25,000 prizes will be awarded, and winners will be invited to an in-person event at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Washington, DC. Hear more about the challenge from its creators, Denna Lambert, Inclusive Innovation Team Lead for ESIP (Early Stage Innovation and Partnerships Portfolio), and Lynn Van Deventer, Open Innovation Advisor for NASA’s CoECI (Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation).

Speaker Profile
Dena Lambert is the Inclusive Innovation team leader for NASA’s CoECI (Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation). She manages efforts to reach, engage, and advance underrepresented and underserved communities in the space technology ecosystem. After joining NASA as a contract specialist in the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Procurement Office, Dena’s passion for creating inclusive environments took her from managing Goddard’s minority student programs to designing a federal certification program model for individuals with disabilities in the federal sector to leading the design team that transformed the center’s Information and Collaboration Center, which won a federal large library award in 2016.
Lynn Van Deventer is a Principal Specialist in Project Management at KBR and an Open Innovation Advisor for the Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation (CoECI), where she is responsible for developing challenges, evaluating and synthesizing proposals, and executing challenges. Lynn’s experience includes leading large-scale software development projects, managing the implementation of strategic plans for Seattle Public Schools, and designing, developing, and managing global open innovation efforts for private companies, leading foundations, and governments. Most recently, she led a team of program officers collaborating with clients to solve some of the world’s most complex technical and societal challenges. Lynn holds a BA in English from the University of Iowa.
