MANDEVILLE — St. Tammany Corporation has relaunched “The AnalyST,” a digital research publication offered as a quarterly economic trends report.

AnalyST is a collection of curated economic indicators designed to interpret the local economy’s relationship with the national economy and St. Tammany Parish.

Led by Economic Leadership, an economic development and strategic planning consulting group, the publication’s key research insights cover a variety of topics, including inflation, the labor market, residential real estate and other industry-specific information happening in St. Tammany. This edition covers the first quarter of 2024.

“Important decisions at all levels of economic development are fact-based and data-driven, so understanding the impact on local economic conditions and the incremental changes experienced quarter-to-quarter and year-to-year is essential in benchmarking St. Tammany’s economic standing,” said Chris Massingill, CEO of St. Tammany Corporation.

Through this publication and future quarterly economic trends reports, St. Tammany Corporation will continue to prioritize its mission of communicating economic truth and providing meaningful, thoughtful analysis that lays the foundation for transformative, results-driven economic development.

AnalyST previously focused on St. Tammany’s economic and health situation during the global pandemic and economic downturn in conjunction with our analysis of “Snapshot: COVID-19 Impacts.” This updated edition features new insights and takeaways that take into account the current economic situation and help provide residents with an indication of how St. Tammany’s economy is performing.

Massingill added, “As a trusted resource for our community and partners, St. Tammany Corporation will continue to deliver cross-cutting platforms and products that provide opportunities to competitively position St. Tammany and highlight data with the context needed to inform where we are today and where we’re going. Through these efforts, we work every day to realize our vision of strategically aligning St. Tammany’s economic landscape to be the city of choice for highly skilled talent and businesses to start, grow and retain.”

This edition of The AnalyST can be accessed through St. Tammany Corporation’s main website at www.sttammanycorp.org. The site is temporarily serving as a hub for documents and resources. As part of an ongoing effort to revitalize St. Tammany Corporation’s digital assets and marketing efforts, a data-driven platform and initiative known as StTammanySTats will soon be integrated into the main website as an expanded and updated resource for the community. The integration of this platform will continue to serve economic developers, public officials, business professionals, and residents who want to use relevant information to make thoughtful decisions.
