The PlayStation VR2 headset is usually prohibitively expensive, costing around $550 – even more than the PS5 you need to play it – but it’s currently on sale as part of a great bundle. This limited-time sale has the PS VR2 currently offering $200 off whether you buy it in a bundle with Horizon: Call of the Mountain or on its own.

The PS VR2 is a virtual reality headset made for the PS5. In August 2024, Sony plans to release a PC adapter (sold separately, $60) that will allow you to pair the headset with your computer and play SteamVR games.

The PS VR2 headset was released in February 2023 with major upgrades and options over the original model. New features include “see-through view”, OLED display, and 3D audio technology. This bundle includes Horizon Call of the Mountain.
These sales make the PS VR2 even more affordable than the Meta Quest 3, one of the most popular virtual reality headsets on the market. It’s not often that Sony’s exclusive gaming headsets are discounted, but it’s rare to see a discount this big. If you’ve been waiting for your chance to get your hands on this headset, now is your chance; it already sold out once, but was back in stock overnight.
Still need a PS5? Luckily, the console is also on sale, 10% off its lowest price ever. Sadly, you won’t get the $200 discount, but it’s rare to see such a popular device discounted. Both the standard and Digital Edition PS5 are on sale right now.
Sony PS5 Slim
The PS5 is one of the best consoles out there, with powerful hardware, exclusive features, and a 4K Blu-ray drive. It’s $50 more expensive than the digital edition of the PS5, but this model lets you play game discs. The slim version of this console is slightly smaller than the original and has 1TB of storage.

The PS5 Slim Digital Edition only supports downloadable games and is $50 cheaper than a standard PS5 with a disc drive, and if you want to use physical discs at a later date, you can purchase the disc drive add-on separately for an extra $80.
